This is pure porn with a very simple concept (gap year) to get our leading character from one place to another to meet new people.

It's pretty amazing how everyone she meets (her age, male and female) are all as open sexually as she is.  She tends to observe other people having sex (no one seems to mind) and then when they notice her they invite her to join. That's the basic concept.

As porn, this was pretty good, though it got to be a little too much of the same thing after a bit.  This could actually be a shorter book (I know - it's already pretty short) so that there's not so much repetition.

Also, I know it's a cultural thing, but as a U.S. reader, the word "knickers" is not very sexy. Carrie (or others) is constantly taking off her knickers. You could just as well say she's taking off her granny panties - it sounds so UNsexy.

Would I read others in the series? Yes. Am I anxious to buy them all? No.

Sage runs his father's bike shop. Jay is torn because he's completely infatuated with his partner, Sage, but hates the small Colorado community he lives in. Lily is on vacation in Colorado and can't believe how hot the guys in the bike shop are. They happen to find Lily equally attractive.  Turn up the heat ... the three will get together in different combinations, alone, together, and with a few others.

I got this mostly based on the author's general reputation and book ratings, but I found this to be fairly boring.  I really didn't need to spend so much time on angst. I don't care how hot Jay was - he was annoying.

Sex scenes were pretty typical to this kind of erotica, but I just didn't get into it.

ENTWINED: JANE IN THE JUNGLE - Colette Gale

The 'friend' tries to force himself on Jane but she manages to rebuff his advances. How will the wild man respond? 

This 'Tarzan'-like erotic short was really enjoyable.  I liked that I could identify the setting from my Tarzan reading days. And while it wasn't billed as a Tarzan story, the connection was clear. And yet author Colette Gale didn't change things to fit this story. It was as if we were reading Tarzan but from Jane's point of view and uncensored.

There are ten books in the 'Jane' series and I'm definitely keen to read them all.

BEACH DAY FOR THREE - Grace Beaumont

Liv has booked a cruise for her and her husband, Sam. They meet a sexy man, Noah, who not only is fantastic in bed with Liv, but he and Sam find each other attractive as well. This is a MMF fantasy in which everyone pleases everyone. A day at a port should have them so busy they just go back to their rooms and fall asleep, but instead it just gets them even more horny for each other.

This was a really generic erotic short. What I mean by that is that it's moderately well written with some fun, hot sex, but there's really nothing deep here. This just a short piece to maybe get you off.

I always find it amusing to read a story in which a straight male decides that another man is sexy and they want to suck each other (or more).  At least this book wasn't about cuckolding the husband.

Fine, but not outstanding erotica.

THE PANTY RIPPER PART 1 - Reality Way

From one of the best erotic fictions I've ever read to perhaps the absolute worst. 

From the description online:

Omar has it all smarts, the looks and plenty of money in his bank account. The one thing he's lacking is a woman that he can call his own. That is until he meets a woman that he can't seem to get off his mind. Omar is willing to get his dream girl by any means necessary even if that means he has to get down and dirty. He's even willing to break a few laws or bones if necessary. Will Omar get the woman of his dreams or will his reputation of being a panty ripping sex machine get in the way of his happily ever after? 

It's clearly meant to be tongue-in-cheek and I don't mind some humor in my porn, but this was awful. My biggest issue was the dialog. Not once could I ever imagine someone talking the way these characters did.  And I'm not just referring to sexual conversation. Just their language in general was awful and not believable.

This was free (as is 99.9% of the erotica I read), but I still paid too much. It's books like this that give erotica a bad rap.

THE ONLY MAN AT WESTFIELD ACADEMY - E. C. Valle

Easily the best erotica I've read .... and I've been reading a lot!

Casey is a male who needs a scholarship to get into a good college. Westfield Academy grants him that scholarship but assumes, based on his name, that he's is actually a female.They decide to honor their scholarship and allow him to enter the school as the first male to be enrolled. 

Casey's a good-looking guy and when you have a lot of female hormones raging, he gets a lot of attention. First from a fellow student, but then from some of the very hot professors - who, by the way, have had their own little thing going for some time.

It's a small school and despite his efforts to keep his personal activities private, people seem to know what he's doing ... and they want to participate. Soon, Casey has (almost) more than he can handle.

This was really well written and really hot. Very steamy. I appreciated that Casey was neither cuck nor cocky. He was aware how lucky he was and appreciated the great sex everywhere.

Every chapter had a sex scene. Great character building.

Really, really fine.

Casey is ticked off the Eli keeps taunting her boyfriend, Luke. Since Luke won't, or can't, stand up for himself, Casey decides to take matters into her own hands and tell Eli to knock it off. They've all know each other for many years.  But when Casey arrives at Eli's she's surprised at his aggressiveness - in fact she finds it to be a turn on. Eli not only has his way with Casey, treating her to the biggest and best orgasms (yes, plural) that she's ever had, Eli takes Casey's phone and records it, and sends the video to Luke.

Luke is mortified by watching his girlfriend be so pleasured by his bully, but it does wake him up and he heads over to Eli's to finally face his bully. But Eli and Casey have left to go have dinner and Luke meets Eli's roommate - an attractive woman - who says he doesn't deserve such treatment from either Eli or Casey.  She decides to show Luke how he should be treated.  The roommate has a surprise for Luke.

Again, I'm really not into cuckold erotic fiction, but this one takes a twist.  Well, two twists, which does manage to lesson (a little) the cheating aspect. (Man, cheating really gets me upset.)

I actually quite enjoyed the writing and the sex, but ... BUT ... Bella Beaumont cheats here.  This book does not have an ending.  It finishes with a cliff-hanger, encouraging the reader to buy the next book.  I don't enjoy when an author does this, and knock off a star for it.
