SMALL TOWN GHOST HUNTERS - Eric Vall

I read a different 'Harem LitRPG' novel awhile back (yet to be reviewed) and I've also read Dungeon Crawler Carl - a LitRPG (without the 'harem' novel), so I was interested in reading some more with my Kindle Unlimited plan.  This was the first one I selected.

Mostly I was underwhelmed. While I appreciate a good story, even in my erotica, this took too long for the story to develop. By the time our male hero got together with one or more of the women, I was no longer interested.

the sex writing was decent, but not really worth reading more in this series, and maybe no more by this author.

GROUPIE GIRL FUCK: USED BY THE LESBIAN ROCK STAR - Conner Hayden

A young woman can't believe it when she is pulled aside at the backstage door of a concert venue and told that her favorite rock star wants to meet her. When she is taken to the hotel she gets an autograph and more as the rock star uses her nubile young body to satisfy her lesbian urges.

There's not a lot of story here - just enough to set up why these two women are getting together. And that's okay. That's what we're reading this for, after all.

Erotica like this typically doesn't have an editor review the material and you can tell when someone says something like "Suite 2505, it's on the twenty fifth floor." 

It's a quick read and enjoyable for what it was.

THE STEWARDESS SESSIONS VOLUME 2 - E. C. Valle

More from one of the best erotic fiction authors out there.  These are two more shorts in the Stewardess Sessions series: Private Flights and Private Pleasures.  Tessa is more than just a flight attendant, or perhaps I should say she attends to more than just flight routine. And being aboard private flights allows her to connect with the 1% - often men who aren't afraid of taking what they want. And of course everyone wants Tessa. Fortunately, she wants them just as much!

I will happily read anything by E. C. Valle.

THE STEWARDESS SESSIONS: VOL 1: MILE HIGH ENCOUNTERS - E. C. Valle

One of the best books of erotic fiction I've ever read was author E.C. Valle's The Only Man at Westfield Academy. Because of this, I was looking for anything written by Valle.  So far, the only other work out there is a two book (four story) Stewardess series.  Fortunately, this is equally well written.

Tessa Voss is a flight attendant, working exclusively for private flights - you know, the ones with wealthy people who charter a private flight usually for business reasons.  It's a great opportunity to have our featured character interact with a number of different people - all wealthy and used to getting what they want.  But Tessa is pretty good about getting what she wants, too.

While I would have preferred a longer book like the above mentioned Academy story, this was well written and the character of Tessa was just great.

This 'book' includes the stories "The Politician" and "The Pop Star" - but excellent erotic (porn) reading.

A WOMAN OF EXPERIENCE - Paris Rivera

In general, I thought the writing quality was quite poor.  I'm taking a wild guess that the author doesn't speak/read/write English as a first language. However, I did like the stories - the concepts, the characters, their motives, and the sexual scenes.  It's just too bad that the actual writing wasn't better - this could have been a really powerful collection of stories.

Right off the bat, "Strangers on a Train: When Hiroko Met Sally" sets the tone. The temptation was excellent and the concern about potentially getting caught in public was well established. And with the second story, "If You Say SO, Professor,"  I noted - "A really hot story - too bad the dialog and set-up was so amateurish."

Likewise, with the next story, ""Sweet-Talking Her Professor: How Tessa Seduced her Sexy Professor," I wrote the comment: "Dialog simple, almost childlike. The story went on too long."

 However, with "Gym Crush" I only noted: "This was hot!" I also quite liked "Big City Massage."

I think this is pretty typical for self-published work ... some good ideas and moments of hot or interesting, but generally poor writing.

XANTHE'S CHEATING WIFE CONFESSIONS - Dilana Rose

Xanthe cheated on her husband, Jack, with her husband's best friend. But Jack still has the hots for Xanthe and gets turned on knowing that his friend had her sexually. She still thinks about sex with her husband.

Mostly I found the relationship between these two people really confusing.  It's only 42 pages and I understand the setup is super simple, but it has to make sense, and this doesn't.

The sex is "eh".

BETTER OFF DEAD - Alice Bello

Lucy Hart, an eighteen year old cheerleader had it all - money, status, and the respect (or at least fear) of the students at school - but loses everything when her father is arrested for tax evasion and human trafficking. Now working in a burger joint, which is definitely beneath her, Lucy finds a way to blackmail her father's shyster lawyer and the lawyer learns of a way that Lucy can earn some good money, fast. All she needs to do is pretend to be a rich man's fiancée. Seems simple enough.

But when she actually falls in love with Gabriel, simple turns into complicated. And complicated becomes dangerous when she learns that Gabriel is actually a werewolf, and his real fiancée is a vampire who's ready to kill Lucy for moving in on Gabriel.

There was definitely a lot more story in this than most erotica that I've read, but sometimes things move really quickly and you wonder how the characters made the leap from point A to point B and other times we get long, pointless narration. It felt like this started to be one book and then the author changed her mind.

The writing was fine and I'm mildly interested in reading more.
