THE HEAD TRIP - M. L. Ginger

Secret agent Simon Scarlett who fell out of grace in the previous book by M. L. Ginger (The Atomic Eight Inches) has a chance to restore his name when the CIA asks him to help them find and return daughter of an Indian tech billionaire who's been kidnapped. But finding and returning her might be the easiest part of this mission. The cruel Al-Mahajiroun who has kidnapped Priya Misrani has used some tech which her father is famous for, and now, with just a touch of a button, the virginally sweet, prim Priya becomes a raving, slobbering slave to sex and the deepest desire to perform fellatio.

The technology used for this is not the hottest tech on the market and everyone wants to get their hands on it ... and subsequently on Priya. And if the tech is activated, Priya wants those hands all over her.

Just as I enjoyed the first book, The Head Trip is just pure fun. This reads as a cross between the sleaze fiction of the late 1950's/early 1960's and the knock-offs of pulp adventure fiction like The Executioner, Matt Helm, or The Destroyer.

The book is a bit too long for this kind of action.  This reads like the 'bam ... bam...done' action pulps, but drags along, repeating that action sequence over and over. It's hard to sustain this kind of pace, and it shows at times.

I'd love to read more M. L. Ginger, but a book at half the length would appeal much more.

3-1/2 Guilty Pleasure stars
